Guerilla Ninja 2 is the sequel to the 2D side-scrolling platformer, Guerilla Ninja. 10 years after the Vietnam War, the North Star of Heaven makes their name to the world. As the Cold War rages on, the organized syndicate have put themselves in every proxy wars started by either 2 superpowers, the United States and the Soviet Union. They're main objective is to start World War 3 with the proxy wars of the Cold War being the catalyst. However, this caught the attention of the United Nations and have taken action to prevent this. They called on a special mercenary group specialized in Ninjutsu and modern combat, N.I.N.J.A. Consist of a Cuban combat medic, a decorated British SAS, and the legendary Guerilla Ninja himself, they are lead by the Guerilla Ninja's old war buddy as the leader of N.I.N.J.A and a Japanese translator as the eye in the sky. Together, they take on the challenge to various parts of the world that the syndicate may be at to start their ultimate goal of starting World War 3.
